Show Notes
Is there a new mod renaissance upon us? That is the question I've been asking myself since last year. Sitting in Seattle casting my jaundiced eye on the scene from afar I ask you: is London swinging again? Over the years claims of new mod revivals have been made, and almost never supported, especially in the 21st century. I dive deep into the subject, here's my research and my opinion. Agree or disagree? Let me know. Either way I think you'll enjoy the show.

Welcome to the wild side of the mod beginnings, the wild, wooly, often whacky, world of freakbeat. What is freakbeat? Good question and depending on who you ask people will tell you the sound of freakbeat includes everything from The Dave Clark Five to The Pretty Things, Herman's Hermits to The Beatles to The Action to even The Supremes. Anyhow here's my answer to that question. Let's take a walk on the wild side.
