✦ About this week ✦ This week starts with a bang as the Taurus full moon and a powerful T-square between the Sun, Moon and Pluto asking us to slow down, pay attention and listen. With Venus and Mercury both retrograde, we may find old emotions, insecurities, relationships and patterns coming back up, giving us an opportunity to face what we've been avoiding, take back our power and release what no longer aligns with who we're becoming. On Wednesday, Venus opposite Chiron brings up old wounds around our self-worth, showing us where we've abandoned ourselves, repeated old relationship patterns or looked outside ourselves for validation. Friday brings Mercury square Mars, which can lead to short tempers, sharp words and impulsive reactions, asking us to pause and speak our truth from an empowered rather than angry place. On Saturday, we celebrate Samhain, marking the beginning of the dark half of the year and inviting us to look at what needs to metaphorically die away in our lives so that something new can emerge and grow. Finally, Sunday's last quarter moon in Leo helps us release anything weighing heavily on our hearts, look at what gets in the way of our confidence and courage, and reconnect with our childlike sense of fun, playfulness and joy.
