Nethergate: Detroit Death Metal's Best Kept Secret" The Metal Maniacs Podcast

We sat down with Nethergate, Detroit's most underrated death metal band, to talk about the local scene, their sound, and what it actually takes to build a band from the underground up.

Detroit has a death metal scene most people outside Michigan have never heard of, and Nethergate is one of the bands quietly keeping it brutal. In this interview, we talk formation, influences, the realities of building a following in the underground, and what's next for the band — Their new Album Sanguvoria and just an honest conversation with a band that deserves way more attention than they're getting.

If you're into death metal, underground scene coverage, or you just want to discover your next favorite band before everyone else catches on, this interview is for you. We ask the questions other channels skip — the real story behind the music, not just a highlight reel.
