Anthony Kavanagh- better known as pop singer 'Kavana' - rose to fame in the 90’s at the age of sixteen with eight Top 40 hits, including the iconic ‘I Can Make You Feel Good.’ In recent times he has appeared on TV shows such as the Big Reunion. He has released his memoir, 'Pop Scars' detailing the highs of his meteoric rise to fame, but most importantly his journey through addiction, grief, and what happens when the spotlight fades...and has been a number one Amazon pop bestseller!
In this episode Anthony brings back the nostalgia of his pop career, with every high and low imaginable. We discuss his views on regrets and coincidence and how every moment, good and bad, can have it's silver lining. His three Sliding Doors Moments include: being let into the last nightclub he tried and meeting the manager that made him a pop star, meeting his best friend Greg who made the biggest impact on his life, and not answering the phone when Madonna called!!
