Car Detailing Marketer: I Stopped Chasing Views And Started Tracking Sales | Aaron Wilton-Jones
The Morning MarketerShow Notes
Aaron Wilton-Jones built 460,000 followers posting satisfying car detailing videos, then found a lot of them weren't engaged anymore. Now he ignores views and tracks one thing: sales.
In this episode of The Morning Marketer we sit down with Aaron Wilton-Jones, the marketer and mentor behind Autoclean Academy, who helps car detailing businesses grow with systems, processes and marketing.
Aaron dropped out of school at 17, started a car detailing business at 18, and by 21 other detailers were messaging him to ask how he got his customers. Today he works with detailers doing over $100,000 a month, runs a done for you service managing their ads and websites, and has built his own AI system to track every lead from the first video they watch to the day they pay.
He explains: ◼ Why going viral hurt his channel once he was selling a high ticket service ◼ Why his best performing ads are bad quality with no editing at all ◼ The 3 numbers he judges every ad on, and why cost per customer is the one that matters ◼ How he went from charging $500 to $5,000, and why he tells every detailer to price high ◼ What happened when his Instagram was taken down for 3 weeks, and what he paid to get it back
