Ducks Take Control, Tkachuk Questions Grow as Hurricanes & Avalanche Advance

Welcome to the DFO Rundown with Jason Gregor and Jeff Marek!

We kick things off with the Lightning and Canadiens, where the focus was on Brandon Hagel stepping up in a massive way as Tampa Bay continues to lean on key contributors in a tightly contested series.

Then it’s over to Oilers vs Ducks, where overtime controversy stole the spotlight once again. We break down the debated OT winner, the mounting injury concerns for Edmonton, and what it all means as the Oilers try to keep pace in a series that’s quickly turning hostile.

We also dive into another edition of Buy or Sell, before shifting to the Sabres taking control against the Bruins, and the Hurricanes completing a dominant sweep of the Senators.

One of the biggest talking points right now is Brady Tkachuk’s future, and we take a deeper look at what could be ahead after Ottawa’s early exit.

Elsewhere, the Penguins stay alive and avoid elimination, the Avalanche finish off a sweep of the Kings, and the Stars and Wild continue their back-and-forth battle.

We wrap things up with a look at the Mammoth vs Utah series and some discussion on the upcoming World Championships.
