Proactive - Interviews for investorsShow Notes
Pantheon Resources PLC (AIM:PANR, OTCQX:PTHRF) newly appointed CEO Dave Wilkins and former CEO Max Easley joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the leadership transition, as Wilkins takes over at the helm of the company, effective immediately. Easley has taken another senior executive role with a large operator in Alaska and will remain with the company for a period of time to support a smooth handover.
Wilkins brings more than 40 years of experience across the oil and gas industry, with a background spanning exploration, production, drilling, operations and asset development. He has served on Pantheon’s Board of Directors since March 2026, giving him an existing understanding of the company, its assets and its strategic objectives as he assumes the top executive role.
His career includes senior leadership positions with Hilcorp Alaska, Marathon Oil Company and Dowell Schlumberger. These roles have provided him with extensive experience in upstream energy operations, including the technical and operational challenges associated with developing oil and gas resources in Alaska.
Pantheon highlighted Wilkins’ track record in building high-performing teams, managing partnerships and developing complex energy assets. The company also pointed to his experience in creating shareholder value through the effective development and management of energy projects.
His familiarity with Alaska’s operating environment, combined with his technical background and executive leadership experience, is expected to be relevant as Pantheon works to advance its resource development plans. One of the key areas ahead for the company is its ongoing farm-out discussions, which could play a role in determining how its assets are developed and funded.
The leadership change comes as Pantheon continues to focus on progressing its Alaska resources and evaluating the options available to support future development. Wilkins’ appointment ensures continuity of experienced oil and gas leadership at the CEO level during a critical period for the Company, as operational planning, strategic partnerships and capital requirements remain key priorities.
