Ray Miller has been going to the same neighborhood barbershop for decades. It’s one of the few places left that still feels familiar—a little piece of the past untouched by a world that seems to have moved on without him.
But when Ray stops in one Friday evening for a simple haircut, Frank isn’t there.
A stranger is standing behind the chair instead.
He says his name is Henry Otis. He says Frank had an emergency. And he assures Ray that he’s more than capable of taking care of him.
All Ray wanted was a little off the top.
Before the night is over, he’ll wish he’d never walked through the door.
A Little Off the Top, written by JLGoodwin1990, is a dark horror story about an old-fashioned barbershop, a strange new barber, and a haircut that goes very, very wrong.
