I Get Paid to Be Possessed. Something Went Horribly Wrong.

Getting possessed by the dead sounds like the kind of thing no sane person would volunteer for.

But the money is good. Really good.

For years, it's been just another job: show up at the hotel, take a pill, get strapped into a chair, and let wealthy families spend a few hours with someone they've lost. When it's over, wake up, collect the money, and go home.

There are procedures. There are security guards. There are rules.

And apparently, those rules exist for a reason.

When a group of unusual clients arrives for a private session, something goes horribly wrong—and this time, whatever entered his body may not have left when the session ended.

I Get Paid to Be Possessed. Something Went Horribly Wrong, written by mythic_melon, is a supernatural horror story about a very unusual occupation, the people willing to profit from the dead, and what happens when you invite something inside without knowing exactly what it is.

Turn down the lights, put on your headphones, and enjoy tonight's tale from Dark Night Tales.

Some jobs aren't worth the paycheck.
