The Wine O'Clock Woman

Episode 59 | Guest Conversation: Do You Still Need the Party Girl? with Rachel Teeling

The Wine O'Clock Woman

Show Notes

If drinking has been part of fun, freedom and feeling like you for years, what happens when you start questioning it? In this conversation, I’m joined by Rachel Teeling to talk about the “party girl” we can be reluctant to let go of, why alcohol can become a comfort during heartbreak and loneliness, and Rachel’s idea of the “beer coat” — that borrowed confidence alcohol can give us.

We also explore a bigger question: if alcohol stops being the thing that makes life feel fun, where do you find that part of yourself instead?

You'll begin to see what's happening before that first drink, why alcohol has become your go-to for feeling better, and how to start making different choices without relying on willpower alone.
