It is the reformist illusion of progress while eventually, as the national security state solidifies itself and hunter killer AI packages have work their way into the drones of your local police department, there will be no more social programs. Social Security will expire, most homes, agricultural lands, natural resources will be monopolized by private equity which donates equally to both parties, and there will never, ever be universal basic income. But hey, at least you voted for the “lesser of two evils” and you can blame those independent swine for not voting “blue no matter who” and destroying your future. But the horrifying truth is that there is no red or blue - only imperial purple and you, peasant, do not wear the purple - only the caesars, our modern day billionaires and captains of industry. So we are going to talk about this most recent round of ICE killings, the revamped war with Iran, Lindsey Graham as a locus for examining how red and blue loves each other, the Imperial Boomerang theory for you newcomers, and the origin of policing as a counter insurgency force.
