Episode OverviewIn this episode of The Biblical Hitmen, host Stephen is joined by Ben (End of the World News) and John (We Read The Documents). Together, they explore current geopolitical headlines, the media apparatus, and biblical prophecy, critiquing both mainstream and alternative political commentators while emphasizing that Christians should place their ultimate trust in faith and scripture rather than political movements or human figures.Key Discussion Points The Spiritual Battle & Political Agendas: The panel discusses the trap of looking for political "saviors" or human heroes. They highlight the Great Commission and explain why true Christian faith calls believers to look to Christ rather than earthly governance or political dialectics. Capital Punishment, Media, & Public Reaction: A discussion on the news surrounding the proposed military firing squad and public livestream execution of Nidal Hasan. The hosts examine biblical perspectives on capital punishment (referencing Deuteronomy 21), self-defense, and how sensational media broadcasts can desensitize public audiences. Critique of the Influencer & Political Ecosystem: Ben and Stephen analyze the rhetoric surrounding political movements, media tours (such as TPUSA), and business dealings involving figures like Jared Kushner, noting the continuous cycle of political theater and commercialization. Commentary on Alex Jones & Media Rhetoric: John joins the conversation to react to recent broadcast clips of Alex Jones. The panel critiques concepts like spiritual "downloads," esoteric terminology, and theatrical apocalyptic rhetoric, contrasting them with orthodox biblical teachings of humility, prayer, and testing everything against scripture.
