[Communication Series Part 6] How regulation is the key to confident body language
The Self-Led LeaderShow Notes
Welcome to Part 3, Episode 6 of the Intentional Communication Series. In this episode, we explore one of the most powerful (yet often overlooked) aspects of your communication skills: your body language and non-verbal cues.Research suggests that up to 70–90% of communication is non-verbal. This means that your posture, eye contact, presence, and emotional state often communicate more than your words ever will. But most people aren't taught that their emotional regulation is actually the trick to looking (and sounding) more confident. In this episode, you’ll learn more about why your body communicates before you speak, the connection between your emotions and body language, the difference between fight, flight, freeze & fawn stress responses, and how self-regulation increases influence instantly.True influence isn’t about pretending to be confident - it’s about becoming regulated, present, and intentional. I hope you enjoy today's episode.

Using psychology and social perception, you'll learn what each component means, how it shows up in leadership, and what behaviors you need to start doing to demonstrate that you have gravitas, too. --Get The Gravitas Guide:www.christinaaidy.com/gravitasguide --Take the free presence quiz & find out what impression you're already making:www.christinaaidy.com/quiz --Get the executive presence workshop so you have a custom 14-day roadmap to start showing up with more confidence & better presence:www.christinaaidy.com/executivepresenceworkshop
