As we get into our upper 30s and then into our 40s, our bodies stop responding the way they used to. The things we used to do to drop weight and get lean stop working, or maybe they never really 'worked' like we thought. Our approach has to change, and it doesn't have to be complicated.
In this first episode of The Eat Build Sculpt Podcast, I’m sharing my personal journey from growing up insecure and immersed in diet culture… to becoming a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach who now helps hundreds of women build muscle, fuel properly, and finally change their body composition in a sustainable way.
We’re talking about: Why what worked in your 20s stops working in your 30s and 40s (and beyond) The hidden cost of chronic under-eating and constant HIIT Why cutting foods isn’t the same thing as fixing the problem The shift from shrinking your body to building it Why muscle is the foundation for sustainable fat loss
If you’ve been feeling frustrated because you’re consistent but not seeing the definition you want, this episode will help you understand why — and what actually needs to change.

Today I’m pulling out my BS radar. Always a fun time.
Perimenopause is everywhere right now — in your Instagram feed, in supplement ads, in wellness content, in the mainstream media. And the message being marketed to women in their 40s is essentially this: your body is changing, the things that used to work don’t anymore, and you need special products and special protocols to navigate it.

Please don't tune out when I say this, but a lot of you are doing too much. And it's actually costing you the body you want.
Women go into a calorie deficit and feel miserable. They don't see the results they expected — or they see no results at all. They either give up or white-knuckle through it and still end up frustrated and stuck. And most of the time, it's not that they're not trying hard enough. It's that they're making one or more of the mistakes I'm covering today.
