One thing about Nadoly that you may know if you’ve been here with us for a while is that she is a believer of bigfoot! She may have a harder time with some of the other cryptids and oddities we talk about, but when it comes to Bigfoot, he’s got her hooked. So today, I thought we’d go on the hunt through some of our listener stories for encounters with the elusive creature! We have several encounters, all of them interesting and if you make it to the last story it may actually resemble something else we’ve talked about here before! But you’ll have to wait until the end for that one!

While walking the aisles of an antique store or resale shop, I often think about the people who owned all of this stuff before it found itself here. You know, normal questions like: Who did it come from? What were they like? Are they still alive? Was their house haunted? Did they participate in any dark rituals that may have bound a demonic entity or disgruntled spirit to these items? Even though we may never know the answers to these questions, some of our listeners have encountered a ghost or two inside a thrift store or attached to an item they felt drawn to bring home and those are the stories we’ll be telling you in this episode! Get your coziest blanket, your warm mug of tea, and settle in with one eye on that antique piece of furniture you have sitting there in your room with you as we tell stories of haunted thrift stores, a pair of pants with a ghostly attachment, and a doll possessed by the spirit of its previous owner!

I feel like attempting to contact the spirits of the dead at least once is like a rite of passage for all who would have put themselves in the category of ‘spooky.’ And just as we’ve said so many times on this podcast, you never know what’s waiting for you in the darkness when you’re reaching out. Today, I’ve brought you several stories from our listeners who took a chance with a ouija board and made contact with something much darker than they intended!
