THE PROPHECY NEWS PODCAST: Strange Fire Part 3, Witchcraft In The Church
NTEB BIBLE RADIO: Rightly DividingShow Notes
Benny Hinn’s hand gestures and jacket-waving accompany people collapsing, with these displays presented as encounters with the Holy Spirit. Kenneth Copeland Ministries instructs people to begin speaking unfamiliar syllables by faith, while Bethel’s Kris Vallotton describes feathers falling in church and goldlike dust appearing on people’s faces and hands. John Arnott promoted supposed miraculous changes to dental fillings and crowns, turning them to gold. Todd Bentley said that angel feathers began falling during his many ‘revival meetings’. Somewhere along the way, the spectacle itself became the credential. People fall, therefore the preacher must be anointed. Something glitters, therefore God’s glory must have arrived. Unfamiliar syllables pour out, therefore heaven must be speaking. But every one of those conclusions demands examination. Calling something a manifestation of the Holy Ghost does not establish its source, and a congregation’s excitement doesn’t equal scriptural authority.
“To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.” Acts 8:10,11 (KJB)
The King James Bible records a crowd making precisely that dangerous mistake about Simon, a man who had bewitched them with sorcery. They were impressed by the power but deceived about its source. That warning belongs in every church where questioning a manifestation is treated as resisting God. Paul’s instruction remains explicit – “But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.” 1 Corinthians 14:28 (KJB). FUN FACT: a claimed anointing cannot authorize disobedience to Paul’s command. Witchcraft does not become holy through Christian vocabulary, and religious showmanship deserves no exemption from biblical scrutiny. Before you surrender your discernment to the man or woman commanding the platform, open your Bible and test what he or she is telling you. Be a Berean! The preacher making the claim must answer to the Book. Paula White, Kathryn Krick, and Stacey Campbell belong squarely in this examination of the supernatural claims being made inside the Charismatic Church. During her November 2020 election prayer, White repeatedly chanted “strike” and declared that angels were being dispatched from Africa and South America to secure victory. Kathryn Krick presents herself as an apostle, and her church claims a mandate to release anointing, cast out demons, heal the sick, and raise the dead. Stacey Campbell describes violent shaking and loud tongues, while her ministry promotes “ecstatic prophecy” in which someone is supposedly overtaken by the Holy Spirit in body, soul, and spirit. Is this confusion and chaos of God? Come on, now, you know it’s not, and today we’ll prove it to you..

On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, the problems in the Charismatic Church go way deeper than just pretending to speak in tongues or play-acting to heal gullible donors. The real problem inside the Charismatic Church is witchcraft.

Something very strange is happening on the campaign trail as President Donald Trump crisscrosses America desperately trying to rescue Republican control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections. With his approval ratings collapsing, the Iran war dragging on, and the American people increasingly frustrated by an economy that looks nothing like the promised Golden Age, the president has suddenly become fascinated with describing other men’s bodies, particularly Senator Jon Husted’s muscular backside, shoulders, legs and feet. Then there’s his continuing celebration of the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.,” which he calls the “gay national anthem,” while telling audiences how much Melania hates watching him dance to it. But what if these increasingly bizarre performances are not simply Trump losing control of the narrative? What if they are helping him deliberately change it? Former Trump strategist Steve Bannon famously described a political technique called “flood the zone,” overwhelming the news media with a nonstop barrage of distractions and controversies until the important stories get buried beneath the spectacle. Pay no attention to that man behind the golden curtain.
The world is becoming accustomed to things that should be shaking it wide awake. Israel has raised its military readiness as violence continues in Gaza and the West Bank, while the confrontation with Hezbollah remains unresolved beneath Lebanon’s fragile ceasefire. Saudi Arabia is struggling to defend its airports and infrastructure against Houthi missiles and drones. Today, a Houthi missile attack reportedly killed at least 20 government troops in Yemen. Meanwhile, the confrontation in the Strait of Hormuz continues threatening the movement of oil through one of the world’s most important shipping routes. These conflicts reach far beyond the people directly under fire: disrupted supplies and higher prices carry their consequences into households thousands of miles away.

Watching Tesla’s new Roadster climb a ramp upside down, rotate in midair and land on its wheels feels like watching science fiction step off the movie screen. The demonstration is astonishing, and when you place it alongside AI’s growing ability to interpret information, plan tasks and operate machinery, the implications reach far beyond a new sports car. We are watching technologies converge that could reshape how people work, travel, communicate and make decisions. This is a vivid illustration of a world experiencing an extraordinary increase in knowledge. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Yet increased knowledge brings an ancient question roaring back into view: what happens when mankind’s growing abilities only serve its pride, and not the God that gave those talents? At Babel, human ingenuity became an instrument of collective self-exaltation to the point where the LORD stepped in to stop it. In the time that’s coming, He’s gonna just let it go and play out for 7 glorious, terrible years.
So much for the obliteration of Iran! For months, President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have been assuring the American people that Iran’s nuclear program was obliterated, its missile manufacturing capabilities destroyed, and its military machine crushed beneath the overwhelming firepower of the United States and Israel. Victory was declared, the speeches were made, and the White House celebrated what it portrayed as one of the greatest military achievements in modern history. But now comes a bombshell report from the Jerusalem Post revealing that Iran is not only rebuilding its ballistic missile and drone arsenals, it is actively fortifying its nuclear installations and preparing for the next war with America and Israel!
