Show Notes
Andy, Adam and Lyndon discuss the 4-2 defeat to Brentford, the annoying 1-1 draw with basement boys Wolves and the refereeing nonsense that ensured that Everton finished the latter game with 9 men. They offer their thoughts on the team's current failings, the David Moyes's stubbornness and the manager's refusal to make changes against Wolves until late while leaving Tyler Dibling kicking his heels on the bench. Finally, "Chat EFC" takes us back to the FA Cup 3rd Round in 2012 Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
More from The Evertonia Podcast: Talking Everton
Lyndon chats with Paul, the author of the 2021 book, The Forgotten Champions, 1986/87: Everton's Last Title about a phenomenal achievement by Howard Kendall and his players that has largely gone unheralded.
The guys are back to review Everton's 2-0 home defeat to Chelsea and what was, in particular, a desperately poor second half. The discussion centres on David Moyes's team selection, substitutions and refusal to use the more exciting and creative elements of his squad. And And where are the goals going to come from if Thierno Barry isn't scoring them?
Paul Traill returns to the podcast as the guys review the frustrating 2-2 draw at Hull City and David Moyes's safety-first team selection that installed Jarrad Branthwaite as an awkward left-back and retained Brennan Johnson wide on the right.
Andy, Adam and Lyndon return along with the Premier League after a three-week hiatus to preview Everton's trip to Hull on Sunday. Is it a case of same team again for David Moyes (the fitness of Vitalii Mykolenko permitting) and who will make way for Christian Nørgaard when he fully fit and a regular starter?
After a long break, Lyndon returns with another in the One-On-Series and a lengthy chat with Rob Vera, a familiar name to most Blues, particularly those who listen to The Blue Room where he is a regular guest and host.
