Ever have that feeling of "I shouldn't feel this way about my body" because, in theory, you align with the body positivity movement? Because you've read all the books, you’ve followed all the social media accounts, you listen to all the podcasts. You might even be accepting and positive about all other bodies. Yet you can’t seem to shift your negative feelings about your own body, you still have thoughts of wanting to shrink your body and that shame stops you from seeking support from friends, or a professional.
This week we explore the feelings of shame you might be experiencing to help you understand why you might feel this way and what to do if this happens to you.
Topics covered
Weight gain fears
Dieting/diet culture
Body image
Body positivity
Body acceptance
Weight stigma

More from The Anti-Diet Club Podcast
Well, what a ride these last two years have been with the podcast. We open this show with some news that has left a lump in our throat, to say the least!

Show notes - Revisited: But I Need to Lose Weight
As Gillian and I take a short break from recording, we wanted to share with you some of the most popular episodes so far. This Episode is our 3rd most popular so join us this week to revisit this topic.
Our 50th Episode is here! We are so thrilled to be reaching this milestone and we wanted to do something special for our listeners, so we decided a special Q&A episode would be the best way to give you some of the direct answers to some of your most commonly asked questions.
