You and I Me and you Ramble on with missing screws
I wouldn't change it You wouldn't want me to You and I Me and you
That poem is called "The intergalactic futility of trying to shave a monkey - in three parts - wherein our hero finds himself at something of a loose end on a rainy weekend in a galaxy a trillion light years from home" and I think it's rather beautiful.
This week we wrap up another album by taking a listen to Deacy's only contribution to A Day at the Races.
If Kev were to title this episode, I’d probably call it “You and Me”, or possibly, “You and I”
NOTE: Skip forward to 22:46 if wanna get straight into the manifestations and wheel spin.
The music at the end of the episode is the brilliant "Ocean in Your Eyes" by Canadian national treasure, Jay Semko. Randy cowrote this, the opening track from the album "Flora Vista" and engineered, co-produced, and played on the rest of the record; a piece of work that Kev thinks his pal absolutely knocked out of the park. If you wanna check out the song - and you damn well should, you'll find it here : https://youtu.be/kIErKyegCqE

More from Seaside Pod Review (A Queen Podcast)
There was young fella named Freddie Who died long before we were ready He gaves us some tunes and we podcast buffoons Have talked for four years now already!
B B B B B B Side! Today we cover an actual bona fide B Side. Not a track that was unearthed twenty years later and slapped onto a deluxe edition. Not a song with another singer from a super famous couple of rock bands and not the seaside we like to be beside. It's another track from the The Miracle sessions and it was almost twelve minutes long in its original form! It's a light-hearted little Freddie jam that was cut up and put on the flip side of the Breakthru single. You might like it. You might not.
Seaside Pod Review does not condone booking a bus trip down to Brighton to meet your secretary in some seedy little bed and breakfast two streets back from the front behind your wife, and her husband's back and having it off like a couple of hippies in the 60s! No. We recommend you stick with your partner and only do it to them. Preferably with the lights off and your socks on. Remember, Jesus is watching your spotty white arse as it goes up and down arhythmically for 4 to 6 minutes and he's not gonna be impressed if you're pumping anyone other than the person you promised to pump exclusively in one of his ornate dwellings. Don't make Jesus cry. What's wrong with you?!
The last two non-Queen songs we've covered were Billie Holiday and Dolly Parton. This week's song is not like either. If you're easily offended by dark lyrics in a comedic/novelty punk-techno song that borders on poor taste, then this one likely isn't for you. We knew nothing about the band TISM and we're not sure we know a whole lot more now we've listened to then, but any way you wanna cut it, these guys are different! Very different.
Another album bites the dust as we finish up Jazz and leave ourselves with only three songs on the wheel! There are more dismissals from the minifestations gauntlet of death and Randy inquires as to how Kev fared when he recently ventured out of his basement and into the wider world. There's also some chat about Iron Maiden and why we tend to go back to listen to things we've heard a million times before.
