"How much responsibility do institutions have to take for these women? Do they have to wipe their ass? Warm their botties? Do airplane to give them their squished peas?"
Brian and Alison go through the Cornell 7 case — the civil complaint, Cornell's own Title IX timeline, and the New York prosecutor taken off the case after finding nothing actionable under the law as written. And how replacing him with a special prosecutor who is going to change the law proves he was right.
Also: the timeline nobody is quoting — she had sex with them, wanted to come back to the next party, was told she wasn't welcome, and only then began to call it rape; the same sequence run with the sexes reversed; and AOC saying institutions failed.
"The story really is people's reaction. It's like watching the hive mind go crazy. The same was true with the Clancy case — it's going to play out however it plays out, but the story is the reaction."
