Steps 'Steptacular' Down Under

Glitter & Gold: The Original Steps Podcast

Show Notes

We continue our deep dive into the Steps journey down under, talking all things STEPTACULAR.

By the end of the STEP ONE era, Steps had cemented themselves as a pop-force not to be messed with. In Australia they had already achieved 4 Top 10 singles (including #1 with 5,6,7,8), Top 5 platinum selling debut album and had sold over half a million singles and albums combined.

Mid 1999 saw the second album era kick into gear, and while in the UK they were going from strength-to-strength (#1 album and a record breaking arena tour), here in Australia things were not looking as bright.
