To Rennes And Back With Sangaré & Wilson | Brentford’s Pre-Season So Far - Beesotted Podcast

Billy TheBee Grant and Dave Laney Lane reflect on Brentford’s pre-season so far on the way back from France following the Bees’ 4-2 win over Rennes - with a first for Beesotted as the podcast is recorded whilst in an open-air lido in Jersey

They look at Keith Andrews’ first proper pre-season in charge and how the new head coach is shaping his Brentford side ahead of the new campaign

There’s a look at the summer comings and goings, including Jordan Henderson’s departure, the arrival of record signing Mamadou Sangaré, plus Callum Wilson and Jaidon Anthony joining the squad

How are the new signings settling in? What are we learning about Andrews’ Brentford? Which players are impressing - and what still needs sorting before the season kicks off?

And the big question - how do Billy and Laney think pre-season has gone for the Bees so far

Plus The Gowler from Bees Breakdown gives us a statistical and tactical lowdown on new signing Mamadou Sangaré - looking at what the numbers tell us about the midfielder and what he could bring to Brentford Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
