Hello and welcome to the Astral Projection Podcast, it’s been a long time since my last episode, where has the time gone? I really do believe that time is moving faster here in the physical plane, I can’t seem to fit in all the things I used to. In reality, time doesn’t exist, it is just something we use in order to get some sort of order in, what we perceive as, our ‘linear lives’. I have been very busy doing several courses, getting into sound therapy, reading a lot of books and of course continuing with my out-of-body experiences. However, I have missed doing my podcast so here I am.
One of the courses I’ve been doing is about shamanism, I’ve always had an interest in this and many of my OBEs have definitely had a shamanic feel about them, I had a guide for a while called Shaman George, plus a bear, a wolf and a dragon as part of my ‘army’ so to speak.
I thought today we could look at a few of the benefits you can enjoy when practicing astral projection/OBEs, some people may start researching and practicing it out of curiosity but the benefits of experiencing out-of-body experiences go far beyond satisfying curiosity. I always have more of a personal/spiritual growth attitude towards it, I have gained spiritual insight into many situations and experienced myself as existing far beyond the physical body grounded on Earth.
1. Exploration of the Astral Realms:
One of the benefits of astral projection is obviously the opportunity to explore the astral realms. These dimensions are extremely varied, basically if you can imagine it you have the possibility of meeting it, or exploring it, the astral offers a landscape for the exploration of consciousness that transcends the limitations of the physical world. You may have encounters with other beings, visit realms that are beautiful beyond description, there are also realms that are not so inviting, the lower planes which are of a very low vibration and I do not recommend visiting these. I have been in these lower realms on several occasions but always with guides and I have never actively planned to go there.
Exploration of the astral certainly opens your mind as you realise that there is much more to life than meets the eye.
Astral projection transcends the limitations of time and space. Travelers may experience non-linear perceptions of time or visit locations that are distant in physical terms. This unique aspect of astral projection allows us to gain insights into the interconnectedness of past, present, and future.
2. Heightened Spiritual Awareness:
Astral projection is often associated with heightened spiritual awareness. As we focus away from our physical body, we may experience a sense of oneness with the universe, we can tap into a collective consciousness that goes beyond individual identity, once in the astral we become a lot more knowledgeable than we are in the physical, our consciousness expands. This expanded awareness can often lead to profound spiritual insights and can give us a deepened sense of purpose when returning to our physical bodies.
Access to Higher Wisdom:
During astral projection experiences, we may encounter entities or guides that offer insights, teachings, and guidance. This access to higher wisdom can provide answers to existential questions, offer solutions to life challenges, and deepen one’s understanding of the greater mysteries of existence.
3. Self-Discovery and Personal Growth:
Astral projection for me has been, and continues to be, a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth. As we navigate the astral realms, we may encounter symbolic representations of our subconscious mind, unresolved emotions, or aspects of ourselves that are not readily apparent in everyday life. Our higher self may create different scenarios in order to help us work through our issues. Through our astral adventures we can gain many personal insights, healing, and a greater sense of self-awareness,

More from Astral Projection Podcast
I am starting a series of podcast episodes where I am going to describe in detail what I was doing that led me to have my first out-of-body experience, and how I managed to keep them going, leading me into an incredible adventure. I haven’t been having them all my life so it wasn’t something that came naturally to me, I had to work at it. I have always been a dreamer though, I have always loved dreams, I had the occasional lucid dream but I wouldn’t have called myself a regular lucid dreamer.
I came across this yesterday which I had written in one of my notebooks, I had forgotten about it, it is a nice way to start the day, with quiet reflection.
Yesterday I was out and about in my town, it is mid/late September, I went into a shop and lo and behold they were putting out the Christmas stuff, surely it’s too early we haven’t even done Halloween yet. I said this to the guy, that we seem to be stuck in some kind of loop, moving from tradition to tradition in a never-ending cycle, he didn’t seem very happy that he had already been told to start stacking the shelves with elves and laughing Santas.
