Show Notes
Our guest on the show this week is fat fertility coach, Nicola Salmon.
She shares with us the influence her PCOS diagnosis had on her from a young age, how anti-fat bias shows up in our healthcare system and what choices are available to people at higher weights who want to grow their families.
Nicola is a fat-positive fertility coach and author of “Fat and Fertile”.
She helps fat folks navigate getting pregnant in a weight-obsessed world and advocates for change in how fat people are treated whilst accessing help with their fertility.
Nicola uses her unique fat-positive framework to support people in finding their own version of health without diets, advocate for their bodies, relearn how to trust their body, and believe in their ability to get pregnant.
This is a must-listen episode for anyone in a bigger body navigating IVF and/or pregnancy.
Topics discussed:
PCOS
Diet culture in fertility treatment
Weight stigma during pregnancy

Well, what a ride these last two years have been with the podcast. We open this show with some news that has left a lump in our throat, to say the least!
Here is our most popular episode from the last 2 years of The Anti-Diet Club Podcast and it's all about transitioning to intuitive eating when you have been dieting for longer than you can remember.
Show notes - Revisited: But I Need to Lose Weight
As Gillian and I take a short break from recording, we wanted to share with you some of the most popular episodes so far. This Episode is our 3rd most popular so join us this week to revisit this topic.
Our 50th Episode is here! We are so thrilled to be reaching this milestone and we wanted to do something special for our listeners, so we decided a special Q&A episode would be the best way to give you some of the direct answers to some of your most commonly asked questions.
