What happens when profound grief, trauma, and years of mental health struggles collide with the search for a way forward?
In this deeply personal episode of the Carnivore Evolution Podcast, Paul shares his journey through the devastating loss of his life partner, Brian. He describes the grief, survivor’s guilt, and different approaches he explored, including therapy, grief support, exercise, sunlight, sleep, and ketogenic and Carnivore nutrition.
Paul took his healing journey further by becoming a Certified Carnivore Coach, also completing Dr. Georgia Ede’s course for clinicians, and receiving hands-on training at an intensive retreat with a therapist using ketogenic principles.
Today, Paul connects with mental health professionals exploring ketogenic approaches, sharing what he has learned about the relationship between nutrition, metabolic health, and mental health.
He also discusses dietary fat, nutritional ketosis, and why he believes physical and psychological health are deeply interconnected.
Ultimately, Paul’s story is one of resilience, hope, vulnerability, and finding purpose in helping others.
This is an honest conversation about grief, men’s mental health, healing, and the possibility of building a fulfilling life after profound loss.
