Suspense - "My Wife Geraldine" (1945)

Old Time Radio Classics

Show Notes

Suspense presents “My Wife Geraldine,” episode 132, originally broadcast on CBS on March 1, 1945. Edward G. Robinson stars as quiet office worker George Graham in this tale adapted for radio by Robert Tallman from an original story by Larry Marcus, directed by William Spier.

George has invented an idealized wife to make life easier among his coworkers—but when no one has ever met Geraldine, casual questions become uneasy suspicions. Jeanette Nolan and John McIntire co-star in this tense 1940s mystery. This was Robinson’s first known appearance on Suspense.

Old Time Radio Classics presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
