Tertulia de Cuesta: La esperpéntica dimisión del delegado y la lluvia de cifras con la Ley de Nietos que da el Gobierno

Violent protests erupt in Bilbao as radical groups clash with police, leading to significant unrest and multiple arrests. The disturbances, which included barricades set ablaze and attacks on police vehicles, have resulted in at least 16 arrests, with reports indicating ongoing violence in the streets. The police union has criticized the government's handling of the situation, claiming that reinforcements were withdrawn prematurely and that officers were ordered not to intervene effectively during the chaos.

The unrest follows a series of similar incidents across Spain, including Barcelona and Coruña, where radical groups have engaged in violent demonstrations. The police have faced scrutiny for their response, with calls for accountability regarding the orders given during these events. Political leaders, including those from the Basque government, have condemned the violence while also questioning the adequacy of police resources and strategies to maintain public order.

As tensions rise, there are fears that the situation could escalate further, particularly with upcoming protests planned in major cities. The police are under pressure to manage these events effectively, as public safety concerns grow amidst accusations of political negligence from the current government.
