Denika's Give A Little In this episode Mal and Dwayne give an update on their training, and then get into talking about Danika's up coming trip to the big USA, where she'll be competing in the U20 World Cross Country Champs in Florida. Denika was cool enough to even send us a voice memo on her up coming trip and how she qualified for this event. Hint! Hint! It was by running some kick ass speedy 5Km events on the road. We hope you can give a little to help get her there! Also in the episode, some mailbag questions on keeping your bladders and soft flasks clean. And the theories around recovery between intervals and the difference between a rest, easy jog or a float between reps. Lastly it's time to hold some people accountable in the Accountability Assholes segment. We hope you enjoy the episode and keep chafing the dream!

Kia ora Welcome to a funnnn episode of several different voices besides the usual Mal and Dwayne yarning and yarning and yarning away. I don't know if you can tell at this point, but I (Mal) writes the pod description and truly believe nobody even reads this bloody thing. Anyways...
This week Mal and Dwayne share their recent training progress, Mal has an updated lift program which she is very excited about and Dwayne is staring down the barrel of the Taupo 100km in a little over 3 weeks. They also go over the recent results from the local half marathon, as well as Dwayne's experience running as the 1:40 pacer. Lastly the up coming mile series has both Dwayne and Mal very excited.
