At the Time They Didn't Know It Was an Angel - TBH 400
Touched by Heaven - Everyday Encounters with GodShow Notes
"I heard his voice next to my ear. His arm was around my shoulder. I looked down, but I did not see shoes or his pant legs." ---------- Episode 400 brings Touched by Heaven back to where it all began. Before the themes expanded and the conversations deepened, it was angel stories that first drew many of you in. In this milestone episode, I return to real moments where help arrived quietly and unexpectedly. No wings were seen. No explanations were given. At the time, the people involved didn't even call it an angel. They simply knew something intervened. Through stories of guidance, protection, warning, peace, and rescue, I invite you to slow down and reconsider what you may have overlooked in your own life. Because if angels were present in these moments, perhaps they have been present in ours as well, long before we had language for it. ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. More from Touched by Heaven - Everyday Encounters with God
"I was walking up this mountain with others. There was a light at the top. No way. My plan was to come back down." ---------- Moses climbed a mountain to meet God. Isaiah pictured people climbing up to Him. During his near-death experience, Jose found himself climbing a mountain toward a light he knew was God's presence. Moments earlier, he had been in an ambulance. Now, outside his body, he feared reaching the summit meant never returning. Shown the sins of his life, he wanted to go back and make things right. But everything changed when the Father held him in his arms. ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. "Bless me Father, for I am drunk." ---------- Larisa walked into the confessional, drunk. This would be the culmination of a life in which childhood abuse left her feeling unloved, and drinking became a way to escape the pain. Along the way, she experienced terrifying encounters with evil—and heard the voice of Jesus inviting her toward something better. ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. "I am with you, always. It was a male voice. I immediately thought, Wait, I have more questions." ---------- What if God spoke on every radio and television station in the world? That's the premise of the 1950 movie The Next Voice You Hear, starring James Whitmore and Nancy Davis, the future Nancy Reagan. His messages confront disbelief and promise miracles. While watching the movie recently, I thought of our listener, Alice. 30+ years ago, she had a particularly interesting moment with the voice. What really happens when the next voice you hear, is His? ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. Joe is 50, looks 35, and prays like he is eight! ---------- Joe had reached the top of the horse world. Then his marriage, business, and home fell apart. On a dark day in Ireland, with little hope left, he stepped outside and prayed: "Lord Jesus, if you're there, I need your help." What Joe says he saw in the sky sent him searching for a personal relationship with Jesus. That search led him to Medjugorje--and into conversations and prayers that would change other lives, too. Joe's stories are bold, sometimes startling, and full of the childlike trust he has learned to bring to God, one simple prayer at a time. ---------- Share Your Story If you have a Touched by Heaven moment that you would like to share with Trapper, please leave us a note at https://touchedbyheaven.net/contact Our listeners look forward to hearing about life-changing encounters and miraculous stories every week. "As a nine-year-old in the ER, I was observing everything from above, the absolute panic, and hysteria. But I was at peace and felt the sensation of being cradled."
