The Future Face of F1 is Here: The unique story of Bianca Bustamante
Thriving Minds with Alberto ZandiShow Notes
This week Alberto sat down with Bianca Bustamante, the twenty year old driver who is now the future face of F1.
Born in Manila and raised in a working class family, she fell in love with karting at three. At six she asked to be homeschooled to train more. Her father worked three jobs to keep her dream alive. She became the best in her country but the international costs were astronomical. So she moved to the US, and learned all she could about personal branding.
Her hope was that her social media channels would help fund her driving career.
Years later she has millions of followers, sponsors, and is now signed by McLaren for F1 Academy, and working to become the first woman of her generation to reach F1.
She is rewriting the racing history by fighting all the odds in a sport where only 1.5 percent of drivers are women, and largely built for the rich and elite. Now the face of major outlets like Forbes and Vogue, her story is the blueprint for achieving your dreams when the door is closed.
You will learn: • How talent grit and strategy can replace missing resources • How she used social platforms to fund a racing career • The real pathway from karting to F1 Academy • How to train recover and perform under pressure • The mindset required to become the best

Kaspar Basse founded Joe & The Juice in Copenhagen in 2002 with a few thousand dollars and an ambition that was anything but small: he wanted to build something that could compete with Starbucks. Two decades later, Joe & The Juice has grown into a global brand with over 500 locations and was valued at $1.8 billion in 2026. But Kaspar believes one of the biggest mistakes companies make happens precisely when they become successful. As businesses grow, they introduce managers, processes, controls and layers of approval to protect what they have built. And in doing so, they can gradually remove the very thing that made them successful in the first place: culture, and quality. Kaspar does not believe great company culture comes from music, office perks, parties or paying slightly more than your competitors. It comes from people feeling agency, challenged, trusted, capable of improving and proud of what they do.
