Post Moves with Candace Parker & Aliyah Boston

Show Notes

Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston check in from WNBA Training Camp, where the vibes are high and preseason games are right around the corner. Before getting into the action, Candace recaps her birthday weekend, while AB celebrates being honored for her leadership in the community.

The big headline? Aliyah Boston signs a historic $6.3 million contract extension with the Indiana Fever, the richest total deal in WNBA history. Just days earlier, fellow Gamecock A’ja Wilson landed the second-largest deal. The New York Liberty also re-sign their Big 3 of Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones, and Breanna Stewart. Chennedy Carter returns to the WNBA with the Las Vegas Aces, and notable free agents like Natasha Cloud and Tina Charles remain unsigned as camp begins.

On the college side, the NCAA transfer portal closes with a few big moves including Audi Crooks to Oklahoma State and Jordan Lee to South Carolina.

Candace and AB also have some fun with a game of Guess the Jumpshot, give a shoutout to Breanna Stewart’s EuroLeague Women’s title run with Fenerbahce, and wrap things up by answering fan questions.
