Philippa Dunne on Amandaland, Hiding from Joanna Lumley and Finally Feeling Like She Fits In

From Derry Girls to Motherland, Amandaland, and now a BAFTA nominee, Philippa Dunne has spent years quietly becoming one of the funniest actresses on British television. But getting here wasn't easy.

In this chat with Josh, Philippa opens up about the relentless years of rejection before Motherland came along, the once a month conversation she'd have with herself about quitting acting for good, and how close she came to walking away entirely. She talks candidly about growing up desperate to fit in, why her character Anna feels like 13 year old her, and how comedy became the skill she built just to survive the playground.

Plus she joins The Group Chat to answer your questions, including which celeb fangirls over Amandaland, the moment Stephen Graham complimented her at the BAFTAs, and her ranking of the ultimate movie silver foxes.
