Click here to find out more about our October retreat — we’d love to have you there! ✨ Brooklyn and I are so excited to share this real and heart-opening conversation with you ~ and to officially announce that we’re hosting another retreat together this October (9th–11th)! A couple of years ago, we co-hosted the most beautiful retreat, and we’ve been dreaming of doing it again ever since. The time has come! Link above for our wellness, yoga and manifestation retreat! I want you to feel like you're sitting down for tea with us in this episode. We chat about what it really feels like to grow, evolve, and hold space for others while navigating our own healing and self-worth journeys. We chat about so much in this episode, and I ask Brooklyn to open up about: ✨ The parts of herself she’s no longer willing to shrink ✨ The things she used to chase ~ and now feels at peace without ✨ How doing the inner work has changed the way she shows up in her business and community ✨ The subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways she’s given her energy away ~ and how she’s learning to protect it ✨ What success means to her now, compared to a few years ago ✨ And of course, imposter syndrome ~ and how it still shows up, even when you’re fully living your purpose. We really hope you feel seen and heard in this episode and maybe even inspired to stop proving, stop pushing, and soften into who you truly are. About Brooklyn: Brooklyn is a certified yoga teacher and co-founder of Yogable, a wellness company dedicated to creating transformative retreats and online meditation programs that support mind-body healing. Since 2016, she’s guided hundreds of people toward deeper presence and self-connection. She’s also a published author of gratitude journals and affirmation decks, a devoted mother, and a long-time Sunshine Coast local. Originally from Canada, her work is rooted in simplicity, intention, and the belief that slowing down is one of the most powerful things we can do.

Today I’m joined by Revie Jane ~ mum, founder, fitness coach and one of those people who somehow manages to be wildly motivating while also being completely real about the messy bits of life. Revie opens up about a part of her story that she hasn’t always found easy to share ~ growing up with an abusive father, a mother who was emotionally unavailable and later physically absent, and spending much of her teenage years in survival mode. She talks about feeling fundamentally unlovable, living with hypervigilance, and believing that the life she had been handed was simply the life she was destined to have. But then something started to shift. From being taken in by her friend’s family and experiencing a kind of love and safety she hadn’t known before, to discovering fitness and realising she could continually prove her own limiting beliefs wrong, Revie shares how she began to rewrite the story she had been telling herself. We talk about the belief that “I am not what has happened to me. I am who I choose to become,” and how that idea has shaped so much of the life she has created. We also get into: ✨ How Revie learned that she was lovable after spending years believing she wasn’t ✨ The people who showed her that love could be safe, consistent and unconditional ✨ How fitness became a way of rebuilding her self-confidence and changing the narrative in her head ✨ Why she believes we sometimes have to be a little “delusional” about what is possible for our lives ✨ Intuition, trusting your gut and knowing when an opportunity simply isn’t aligned ✨ The pressure of social media and why even confident, successful people still struggle with comparison and self-doubt ✨ The reality of building a successful business ~ and why bigger doesn’t always mean better ✨ How Revie learned that more money, more staff and a bigger business didn’t necessarily equal more happiness ✨ Why peace and contentment might be more important goals than constantly chasing the next thing ✨ Intrusive thoughts, anxiety and the importance of not letting your thoughts dictate your life ✨ The grounding techniques that help Revie when her mind gets loud This conversation is vulnerable, honest, funny and ultimately so full of hope. Because sometimes the life you’ve been given can make you believe that certain things simply aren’t meant for you. But your dream life doesn’t belong to someone else, it belongs to you. Content note: This episode includes discussion of childhood abuse, neglect, suicidal thoughts and intrusive thoughts.

Smilies, something big is coming… Pass Around the Smile is so much more than a podcast, it's a whole world. Be the first to step inside https://passaroundthesmile.com/pages/subscribe Today's episode is such a special one! I'm joined by the incredible Grace Miller, who quite literally got paid as an actual job to fail. Grace was the Head of Failure and Experimentation at Steven Bartlett's Flight Story, and she joined the team back in 2022 when The Diary of a CEO had just 100,000 YouTube subscribers, riding the wave all the way to tens of millions and building an entire department around the idea that failing on purpose is actually the fastest way to grow.
