When The Cops Say No, We Say Yes - ‘Dance Floor Dropper, Part 5'

Who Shat On The Floor At My Wedding? And Other Crimes

Summary

A bizarre investigation unfolds as a group of amateur detectives attempts to identify the so-called "phantom shitter," a person responsible for defecating on the dance floor of a Halifax nightclub. The team launches a unique approach by organizing a "biggest hand competition" to lure potential suspects, but the plan quickly spirals out of control. After only five minutes, the competition post is removed from Facebook, yet it inadvertently leads them to their prime suspect, Jim, after a friend tags him in the comments.

As the detectives prepare to confront Jim, they gather evidence, including a video confession from a man in a balaclava. However, Christopher, a friend of Jim, confirms that the voice in the video does not belong to him, raising doubts about their suspect. The team also uncovers dental evidence suggesting that the self-professed shitter and Jim are not the same person, further complicating the case. With tensions rising and time running out, the detectives must decide how to proceed as they prepare to meet Christopher and potentially confront Jim in person.

Show Notes

Halifax’s Biggest Hand Competition was a success (ish). And it brings us one step closer to confronting the Dance Floor Dropper. A man called Christopher suddenly becomes the key to whole investigation. We need to get him on side. If we play our cards right, the perpetrator could be just one phone call away. But with the entire investigation resting on our next move, there’s no room for (any more) mistakes. The Finale drops Sept 10th.
