Summary
Pastor Jack Hibbs emphasizes the importance of understanding God's nature and the spiritual wealth available to believers in his ongoing series on the Book of Ephesians. He explains that knowing God's nature helps individuals navigate life and discern truth from falsehood. Hibbs highlights that enlightenment comes through the Holy Spirit, which allows believers to grasp the deeper meanings of scripture and understand their identity in Christ.
The discussion also centers on four key aspects of spiritual knowledge: knowing God personally, recognizing His calling, understanding the riches of His inheritance, and experiencing His power. Hibbs asserts that believers are God's inheritance, expressing that God's delight in them is profound. He encourages listeners to seek a personal relationship with God and to pray for enlightenment, reinforcing the idea that true understanding and spiritual growth come from divine revelation rather than mere human effort.
In conclusion, Hibbs calls for believers to recognize the power of God that is at work within them, which is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. He stresses the significance of the church as the body of Christ, where believers should see signs of Jesus' presence and work. The message serves as a reminder of the richness of faith and the transformative power of understanding one's identity and calling in Christ.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches that Paul was a man devoted to prayer, and we're called to do the same. So, when our prayer life begins to fade, and we stop talking with God like we once did, we need to just quiet our hearts, and commune with Him in a whole new way.
Today, Pastor Jack teaches that the Holy Spirit is God's divine guarantee that what He began with our salvation, He will faithfully bring to completion. From the moment we trust in Christ, and are sealed with His Spirit, until the day He brings us home, our salvation is secure.
