X Minus One presents “Project Trojan,” originally broadcast June 19, 1956, as episode 56. This NBC drama was written by Ernest Kinoy from an idea in a Galaxy Magazine editorial by H. L. Gold, and directed by Daniel Sutter.
In wartime England in 1943, British intelligence considers an unconventional way to interfere with Nazi rocket research: turning a science-fictional concept into a rumor the enemy may be unable to dismiss. “Project Trojan” explores the uneasy intersection of imagination, military deception, and scientific ambition, with Alastair Duncan, Ivor Francis, and Burford Hampden among the cast.
Old Time Sci-Fi Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
