Samwise Sorter is a skateboard content creator.
Samwise has been skateboarding since 1993. Getting his first skateboard at the age of 10 changed his life. Since then, he’s never truly set a skateboard down. For the last 33 years Samwise has skated as a hobby. In 2020, his wife convinced him to put his skate videos on Instagram. He gained a small organic following after entering an online competition.
However, in 2023 one of his videos truly went viral with over 2 million views in the first day. It was reposted and shared by the likes of Red Bull, Thrasher Magazine, X-Games and The Berrics. Skate pros like Chad Muska, Tony Hawk, Andy Anderson and more reached out. After going viral, Samwise became a team rider for John Montesi’s Westside Skateshop. He has amassed a following of over 225k people online.
