Show Notes
Radio. The drug I wish no withdrawal symptoms from. Radio is electrifying at its best. Our show isn’t the best but most weeks we’ll stand by it.
Like this week. I sought redemption from my sin-drenched life on our Parabola and lo and behold, trouble knocked on the door but ran away when it heard laughter. Yucks make the heart joyous
Music does too. And just for a moment. A too brief moment, considering I had three hours of music plus the Mystery Man’s time in the warm sun to end the programme. We didn’t need Route 66 to get our kicks!
Here’s your music tease about our programme this week but imho, the full Monty is the better cultural trip. Give us an hour and 58 to live your best life with ears to match.
We were pleased to roll out new and live Sparks, The Staple Singers, Dean Ween, U-Roy with the Mighty Diamonds, and the Odds and Ends from 1965. The Mystery Man got ethereal on us with dream music from Estonia, and we we then fled like snow leopards.
More from The Paleface Parabola
I went for an IV of iron this week as I’m anaemic. I was told it would take six to eight weeks to take effect. Hmmm... So why was I able to lift a car today with no help, I wonder.
This bruised warrior is this post away from piling up the zzz’s, aka achieving a nocturnal night move, aka sleep. It was a beautiful autumn evening to make radio noise for your entertainment dollar on this Wednesday, October 15. So we did.
Please join us for a sip from the overflowing cup of sounds that we hand pick to pass on to you dear friends, on this week’s foray into fun, aka the Paleface Parabola quest of two hours to leave a positive impression on you.
Being but a pawn in game of life... I humbly arrive at your feed to tell the countryside AND yourself to carve out two hours of time, and to spend that time with the Mystery Man, our behind the scenes team, and me.
Sinners and saints alike, have a seat at the table of Jerry’s holiday camp.
