Show Notes
Live to hard drive from the Fifth Estate Studio A, we present Audio Verite – aka this week’s Mental Gymnastics and Musical Hopscotch – aka this week’s radio ruckus also known as the Paleface Parabola. Fun for the whole family and less fattening than your cup of Chubby Farmer Ice Cream (yes it actually exsists, I bought some this evening for my silver haired sexy beast).
Mental Gymnastics? Abe Lincoln and Sonny Rollins. Musical Hopscotch? Reel Big Fish bringing the amped up Ska. Gil Scott Heron? A lovely track. Sparks? Played a concert two hours from our station's world HQ! Crowded House? Local heroes (at least Neil Finn is). Chris Whitley? One of the 90s best albums. And the Mystery Man’s selection of the week is superb music making.
And there’s more to be had where those came from. Feel no Fret.
More from The Paleface Parabola
I went for an IV of iron this week as I’m anaemic. I was told it would take six to eight weeks to take effect. Hmmm... So why was I able to lift a car today with no help, I wonder.
This bruised warrior is this post away from piling up the zzz’s, aka achieving a nocturnal night move, aka sleep. It was a beautiful autumn evening to make radio noise for your entertainment dollar on this Wednesday, October 15. So we did.
Please join us for a sip from the overflowing cup of sounds that we hand pick to pass on to you dear friends, on this week’s foray into fun, aka the Paleface Parabola quest of two hours to leave a positive impression on you.
Being but a pawn in game of life... I humbly arrive at your feed to tell the countryside AND yourself to carve out two hours of time, and to spend that time with the Mystery Man, our behind the scenes team, and me.
Sinners and saints alike, have a seat at the table of Jerry’s holiday camp.
