We’ve got a special conversation to wrap up the year before a holiday break. The Perrys are joined by their friend and Gospel-music artist CeCe Winans. CeCe shares how meeting the Lord at a young age shaped both her music and her priorities in life. The love of God has always been her motivator and she strives to please Him in all she does.
From the fear of the Lord helping her navigate the music industry to choosing home and church over public calling, CeCe reflects on what has kept her grounded, She says, “I don’t worship what I do. I worship who He is.” CeCe’s challenge to listeners is to stay consistent in the things that matter, because you honor God, He’ll honor you.Follow CeCe: https://www.instagram.com/cecewinans

What do you do with the pain that remains after you’ve forgiven someone?
What does the Bible teach us about aging, and how might our perspective change if we viewed getting older through a theological lens rather than a cultural one?
Pain changes us, and it can make us bitter before it makes us resilient. We can also become more attached to our pain than to our Savior, and that’s idolatry.
Y’all love a “storytime” episode and it’s been a while since the Perrys recorded one.
We hear a lot about people experiencing “father wounds” but what about those who carry heartache, anger or sorrow because of a wounding mother?
