You can know a lot about Jesus without truly knowing Him. What does it look like to respond when He says, “Follow me”?
In the opening message of our Follow Me series, Pastor Nick Tallo explores Jesus’ invitation to Peter, Andrew, James, and John in Matthew 4:18–22—and what that invitation means for us today.
Following Jesus begins with relationship. Before the disciples were sent to do anything for Him, they were called to be with Him. That same invitation shapes our lives today:
• Be with Jesus. • Become like Jesus. • Do what Jesus did.
With so many voices competing for our attention, we’re all being shaped by something. Who or what is shaping you? This message challenges us to examine our distractions, make room for Jesus, and discover how daily life with Him changes who we’re becoming. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or realizing you’ve drifted, Jesus invites you to follow Him right where you are. You don’t have to get your life together before you come.
Take a next step this week: Set aside time to read Scripture and pray. Ask, “Jesus, what needs to move in my life so You’re no longer getting whatever is left over?”
