Summary
Ohio veterans express their frustration with Senator Sherrod Brown, accusing him of prioritizing taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants over the needs of veterans. They claim that Brown's policies undermine the healthcare and benefits that veterans have earned through their service. The veterans argue that while they kept their promises to serve the country, Brown has broken his commitments to them.
The discussion highlights specific grievances, including Brown's alleged support for providing social security and COVID relief funds to undocumented immigrants. Critics assert that Brown has partnered with figures like Bernie Sanders to push for free healthcare and amnesty for illegal immigrants, which they believe diverts resources away from veterans. The sentiment among the veterans is one of betrayal, as they feel their sacrifices are being overlooked in favor of what they describe as "cash for illegals."
