Summary
Ohio veterans express their frustration over Senator Sherrod Brown's policies, particularly regarding taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants. They argue that while they served and earned their benefits, Brown has prioritized support for undocumented individuals, which they believe undermines the promises made to veterans.
Critics highlight Brown's voting record, claiming he has supported measures that provide Social Security and COVID relief funds to illegal immigrants. They also point to his collaboration with Senator Bernie Sanders to extend free healthcare and amnesty to this group, framing it as a betrayal of Ohioans who have served in the military. The sentiment among veterans is that their sacrifices are being overlooked in favor of policies that benefit non-citizens.
