This week on The Mother Daze, Tez talks shooting a movie alongside her boys! Whaaa?! The girls chat the magic of sharing the set together, watching our kids follow their passions and the incredible joy of seeing them step into who they’re becoming. Plus, the girls get into some WILD stage parent stories, competitive Pokémon folks, sideline sporting fanatics and the hilarious (and sometimes downright bonkers!) lengths some people go to in perhaps trying to live out their own dreams through their kids! Weeee
And in some very exciting news, Tez and her family have landed their dream Byron pad, complete with a wraparound porch, cows and climbing ivy! She chats about the dreaminess of finding a home in a place they love so much, the magic of planting roots and creating a space for their fam to thrive.
The girls also reflect on the collective upheaval of 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse. From the shit hitting the fan and friendship turmoil to unexpected life shake-ups and everything in between, it seems like the collective has been put through the wringer this year! And ya know what? Horses represent strength, resilience and courage and after all the twists and turns of this year, we’re FINALLY feeling the energy shift! Yahooo.

Daniel’s work is all about helping parents and teens stay connected through the beautiful, messy and sometimes completely bewildering years of adolescence.
This week it’s just the gals and we’re realizing that despite living on opposite sides of the world, we are somehow living PARALLEL LIVES. Oldest kids starting high school? Check. Dreaming up new homes? Check. Small beach-town days where you can’t leave the house without bumping into someone you know? Check. Youngest babies taking their first steps at exactly the same time? CHECK.
