Have you ever wondered if God really sees you… or if you’re just one among many?
In this message, Pastor Ron Cathcart walks through Psalm 23 and shows us a picture of a Shepherd who is personal, present, and deeply attentive. Not distant. Not distracted. A Shepherd who knows His sheep by name.
This week, we slowed down and looked at what that actually means for our lives. That you are known. That you are cared for. That you are not left to figure things out on your own.
Jesus describes Himself as the Shepherd who goes after the one; the one who wandered, the one who feels unseen, the one who wonders if they matter. And when He finds that one, He rejoices.
We also see that the Shepherd doesn’t just know us; He provides, leads, and restores. He meets our needs, guides us into places of peace, and refreshes what feels worn down and weary.
And maybe the invitation is simpler than we make it:
Trust Him… and do the next right thing. Scripture: Psalm 23; Luke 15:3–7; Psalm 8:3–4; Psalm 100:3; Philippians 4:19; Matthew 11:28–30
Key Themes:
The Shepherd knows you personally You are seen, pursued, and valued by God God provides what you truly need Jesus leads with peace, not pressure True rest is found in Him Trust Him and take the next step
