TRENT BACK TO LIVERPOOL?! Craig Responds to Carragher's Verdict

Craig returns for another edition of Late Night Live, discussing Liverpool's latest transfer developments, Ronald Araujo's future, Trent Alexander-Arnold's potential return and growing concerns surrounding Alexis Mac Allister.

With reports suggesting Liverpool want to renegotiate a lower permanent fee with Barcelona for Ronald Araujo, Craig questions whether the Reds are making a smart financial decision or risking a deal that supporters desperately want completed.

Araujo has impressed since arriving at Anfield, but should Liverpool simply pay the agreed fee rather than potentially complicating negotiations?

Attention then turns to Trent Alexander-Arnold following Jamie Carragher's comments suggesting Liverpool should consider bringing the defender back from Real Madrid.

Craig gives his reaction, questioning whether a reunion would genuinely benefit Liverpool after the circumstances surrounding Trent's departure. With concerns over his playing time in Madrid and Liverpool's ongoing right-back problems, could a cut-price deal make sense?

There's also frustration over Alexis Mac Allister's contract situation, with Real Madrid reportedly monitoring the Argentine midfielder. Craig questions why Liverpool are allowing another important player's future to become uncertain and calls for the club to protect his value.

Looking ahead to the Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea, Craig discusses potential team selection, Florian Wirtz's availability, possible opportunities for younger players and the importance of maintaining Liverpool's winning momentum.

Should Liverpool pay the agreed fee for Araujo? Would you welcome Trent back to Anfield? And must the Reds offer Mac Allister a new contract?
