Ian Collins unpacks the absolute state of the nation - a country on the absolute brink. Take a listen to this…
First, British citizens are now being officially urged to assemble a three-day emergency ‘survival kit.’ The public is advised to stock up on canned food, stash physical cash, and buy a wind-up radio to prepare for national crises ranging from major cyber attacks to widespread flooding.
That warning comes, as a massive global internet meltdown has thrown UK infrastructure into total chaos. A total of 32 UK government services were temporarily offline yesterday leaving MOT garages across the country unable to access official databases—forcing mechanics to record vehicle tests by pen and paper like it’s 1955. If that’s not enough - The energy regulator Ofgem says Britain could literally run out of gas this winter. Families face the grim prospect of cold homes and soaring bills while officials scramble to secure supplies.
Adding to the misery - recorded crime has rocketed past 7 million incidents a year for the first time in history. Official figures reveal a huge surge in fraud and street robbery, leaving law-abiding citizens feeling increasingly unsafe in their own communities.
And while Rome burns, where are our leaders? Kick-starting their television careers, it seems. Prime Minister Andy Burnham is set to appear on Channel 4’s Gogglebox (albeit Stand up to Cancer), while Prince William takes time out from the nation’s woes to sit on the sofa for The Graham Norton Show.

Jeremy Kyle unpacks the latest with energy in the UK. Absolute, unadulterated madness. One minute Labour approves a North Sea gas site—a rare, brief outbreak of actual common sense. Donald Trump himself comes out and says, "Look at that, drill full blast, get on with it!" Brilliant, right? Energy independence, lower bills, proper jobs. But no! Within hours, the Energy Secretary signals she’s going to block a massive, crucial oilfield right next door. I mean, are you joking?! Are we trying to power this country or bankrupt it?
This morning on the Jeremy Kyle Breakfast Show unpacks the decision that Labour had made to come to their senses! New drilling for gas in the North Sea is set to be approved today after energy prices spiked to a brutal four-year high. Miatta Fahnbulleh, the Energy Secretary—who, by the way, is currently attacking Shabana Mahmood—is expected to give the green light to the Jackdaw project after months of endless delays.
Jeremy Kyle reacts as The Energy Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh has launched a blistering attack on Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood’s plan to tighten up immigration! Mahmood wants to make foreign nationals wait up to 15 years instead of five to earn permanent residency but Fahnbulleh, writing to voters in her Peckham constituency, has hit back, warning constituents that delaying settlement risks destroying social cohesion, lacking compassion, and fuelling "toxic" political rhetoric.
Jeremy Kyle unpacks the latest with The PM as remember when Andy Burnham said he wants closer ties with Europe?
Jeremy Kyle discusses whether Burnham will now go for an early election? A new mega-poll has handed Prime Minister Andy Burnham and the Labour Party a massive 56-seat Commons majority, with Reform pushing hard in third place right behind the Tories. Latest research by Electoral Calculus finds Labour would win 353 seats in the House of Commons, far ahead of the Tories on 90 seats and Reform UK on 81 seats.
