Show Notes
Jeremy Kyle unpacks the latest with energy in the UK. Absolute, unadulterated madness. One minute Labour approves a North Sea gas site—a rare, brief outbreak of actual common sense. Donald Trump himself comes out and says, "Look at that, drill full blast, get on with it!" Brilliant, right? Energy independence, lower bills, proper jobs. But no! Within hours, the Energy Secretary signals she’s going to block a massive, crucial oilfield right next door. I mean, are you joking?! Are we trying to power this country or bankrupt it?
And speaking of bankrupting us—look at the state of the economy. Kemi Badenoch is flashing the red warning light, and she is dead right to do so. UK debt has officially hit THREE TRILLION POUNDS for the first time ever. Three trillion! Meanwhile, inflation has shot up to 3.5 per cent. That means interest rate misery for hard-working families, and to top it all off, that inflation spike is going to push the national benefits bill up by another £5.5 billion! Who pays for that? You do! The taxpayer, as always, taking it right on the chin while the politicians kick the can down the road.
And finally—because of course they did—the Green Party is out there urging British people to look at the violent protests happening in France and get "inspired" to march in London. Are you serious?! Look over the Channel—cars on fire, riot police, total chaos on the streets—and the Greens think, "Yeah, let’s bring a bit of that over here!" Absolutely reckless! We’ve got enough problems without the Greens bringing Paris-style riots to the streets of London. Grow up!
On Sunday the Hackney Greens shared a post encouraging those “inspired” by the scenes to join a march against austerity planned for next week. It urged activists to follow the French example at the March against Austerity, which will take place in central London next Tuesday. It read “Inspired by the protests in France? we have our own protest in the UK the day before the autumn budget is announced to tell our government what we think about austerity.”

This morning on the Jeremy Kyle Breakfast Show unpacks the decision that Labour had made to come to their senses! New drilling for gas in the North Sea is set to be approved today after energy prices spiked to a brutal four-year high. Miatta Fahnbulleh, the Energy Secretary—who, by the way, is currently attacking Shabana Mahmood—is expected to give the green light to the Jackdaw project after months of endless delays.
Jeremy Kyle reacts as The Energy Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh has launched a blistering attack on Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood’s plan to tighten up immigration! Mahmood wants to make foreign nationals wait up to 15 years instead of five to earn permanent residency but Fahnbulleh, writing to voters in her Peckham constituency, has hit back, warning constituents that delaying settlement risks destroying social cohesion, lacking compassion, and fuelling "toxic" political rhetoric.
