What does it really mean to love your spouse the way Jesus loves His Church?
In Ephesians 5:25-33, we're reminded that God's design for marriage isn't built on convenience, feelings, or keeping score, it's built on sacrificial love. Jesus didn't simply tell us how to love; He demonstrated it by giving Himself completely for us.
This message challenges husbands to love sacrificially and personally, pursuing what's best for their wives with intentionality and grace. But the truth reaches beyond marriage. Every healthy relationship begins with a heart surrendered to Jesus.
Whether you're married, engaged, or preparing for the future, this message will encourage you to stop looking for quick fixes and start allowing Christ to transform you from the inside out.
In this message: • Love gives more than it takes. • Love pursues what's best for others. • Sacrificial love is intentional. • Healthy marriages are built by healthy disciples. • Sit with God before you sit with your spouse. • Don't settle, keep growing.
Your marriage won't become everything God designed it to be by accident. As we become more like Jesus, our relationships begin to reflect His love.
At 2Rivers Church, our mission is to help people become passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that when Jesus becomes the lead story of our lives, everything changes.
