Dark Side Defense Forces 3 INTs vs. Patriots, Drew Lock Steps Up & Mental Toughness

Welcome to Episode 2 of THE DARK SIDE: a podcast on the Seattle Seahawks! Your Super Bowl champion hosts Derick Hall and Byron Murphy II from the Seahawks’ Dark Side defense join KOMO Sports Director Niko Tamurian to reflect on the 1-0 Seahawks start to the season.

The guys have a lot to react to after the 10-point comeback win over the New England Patriots. Byron and Derick talk about the mental toughness needed in a double-digit point comeback and why this Seahawks team has so much fight no matter the scenario. Byron and Derick also walk you through their crucial 4th quarter defensive stops.

We also discuss backup quarterback Drew Lock leading the team to victory after Sam Darnold left the game due to injury. Not to mention, Brian Fleury's leadership of the offense in his first game as the Seahawks offensive coordinator. The pair also get excited about the potential of rookie running back Jadarian Price.

After dissecting the Patriots win, our hosts look ahead to the Hawks Week 2 matchup vs. the Arizona Cardinals.

Finally, we shout out a special interaction that Derick had with a Seahawks fan and end the show with a little college football talk as well.
